Another admirable trait is that Francis believes in ‘giving back’. Voluntary work and community service is an intrinsic part of his life. He is known in the South Asian community as a man who never says ‘no’ to anything which fosters community service and assistance to those in need. The Goan Soccer League is a typical example of commitment to Community and in this instance fostering the love of sport. Ethnic communities know that they can rely on his largesse and his gift giving. Is it any wonder then, that the word ‘Insurance’ within the community is synonymous with “Francis D’Costa”?
Francis D’Costa’s vision is permanently focused on the pursuit of Excellence. The reason for this permanent pursuit is his goal-setting which perennially gets bigger and better. Once an acme has been achieved, it becomes second-rate and he is on to a higher goal, a taller mountain.
