FRANCIS D’COSTA
President
Francis D’Costa, the man who stands at the helm as President of this prestigious brokerage firm, can proudly say he has helped hundreds to plan their finances and their financial futures. This man works tirelessly and ceaselessly – no matter what the project is - whether it is Financial Services or Community Services. Both are equally dear to his heart. No wonder then, that he was awarded “Volunteer of the Year” Award from none other than the Prime Minister Jean Chretien himself!
Hailing from Bombay - the busy metropolis in India, Francis started his career with the Income Tax division of the Government of India. He then moved to the Middle East, having received an offer from Hamleys of London.
He migrated to Canada in 1990 and after getting his license, realized his true passion – “Life Insurance”. He enjoys what he does tremendously and that is the reason for his unmitigated success. He has achieved the highest echelons in the Insurance World, having qualified 14 times for the Million Dollar Round Table (1% of Insurance Agents around the world qualify), 7 times Court of the Table (approx 5% of MDRT agents around the world qualify) and 2 Top of the Table. An achievement approximately 1,800 advisers around the world and about 90 in Canada qualify.
Of great importance in connection with the MDRT – the Premier Association of Financial Professionals is that Francis D’Costa was also the MDRT Membership Committee Chairman for Ontario. He was appointed to the Membership Communications committee (MCC) for 2006-2008. Having qualified every year for over a decade, he is now determined to add many more members into the MDRT from among the Toronto professionals, not the least of which will be from his own Brokerage. One can be sure that with his enthusiasm and persistence he will succeed beyond his own wildest expectations. Congratulations go out to Francis on this and the many accolades he has garnered over the course of his illustrious career.
